HAVING TROUBLE VIEWING SOME MOVIES?
Try downloading the movie to your computer, then watch
it.
Streaming or viewing movies in your browser can be unpredictable.
If a movie will still not play properly make sure you have all
required codecs
(see 'Downloads' below).
If you are still having trouble try reinstalling Windows Media
Player.
Also download the latest codec package from Microsoft (see 'Downloads').
Note: MOV files are best viewed using Apple's Quicktime Player
(see 'Downloads').
To determine the type of codec used in any movie clip use AviCodec
(see 'Downloads').
BEST VIEWING METHODS
Avoid using the newest Windows Media Players (WMP) as they are
too bulky and restrictive.
Use WMP version 6.4. In XP, this can be found under C:\Program
Files\Windows Media Player\mplayer2.exe.
Other OS users can download this player from Microsoft's website
(see 'Downloads').
Associate WMP 6.4 with your movie files. In Explorer right-click
any AVI file and select 'Properties'. Under the General tab,
click 'Change'. Click 'Browse' and search for mplayer2.exe using
the path above. Check the box at the bottom to remember your
preference. Click OK twice to close the windows. Repeat this
procedure for other movie files (wmv, mpg, mpeg, asf).
